FRIDAY, September 30th - "Sketch and Improv Night"
6:00pm-7:00pm - "ALMOST-WORLD" RECORD ATTEMPT
The largest group hug in the history of Altadena - ONLY $1
7:30pm-8:15pm - KEILLY & ROETERS - $10
Keilly & Roeters are a comedy/improv/magic team who
met at the Groundlings Theatre in Los Angeles and have been touring together
for the last six years. They were singled out in "Best of the Fest"
by Time Out Chicago, were voted top ten comedy acts of the year by NOW Toronto,
and were given the Grand Prix at the Tres Courts Festival in Paris by the
legendary, late director, Claude Chabrol. But more importantly, they are super
pretty and sometimes take their clothes off onstage.
8:30pm-9:15pm - THE COOL TABLE - $10
Cool Table Comedy is a sketch and film comedy troupe now
based in Los Angeles, CA. In Chicago, the troupe performed a new show every
week for five years. They have been featured at the Chicago Sketch Fest, LA
Comedy Festival, New York Television Festival, and San Francisco Sketch Fest.
Their videos have graced the front page of Funny Or Die, and Atom.Com.
9:30pm-10:30pm - TIGERPANTS / DR. GOD - $10
Tigerpants perform The Thrasher, a form known for its
superfly fast tag-outs, call backs and mathematics that defy conventional
logic. It is recommended, though not required, that the
audience leave their minds at home, if they don’t want them BLOWN!
Starring: Hally Cohen, Jason Axinn, Brian O'Connell, Chris Marrs
Dr. God is comprised of five members – individually or
as a group they have appeared on or created content for Comedy Central,
Nickelodeon, Fox, Imagine Television, Warner Brothers, The Reelz Channel,
National Lampoon, TV Guide Network, IFC, AMC, MTV, CNN and many impressive
names that would probably be insulted that they didn’t make the above list. All
five are regular performers in the LA improv and sketch comedy community.

What’s so funny about being a father?
According to comedians Stan Sellers, Tyrone Fance and Steve Bruner; almost
everything. These three talented gentlemen take us on a rollercoaster ride of
being, “Dad”. The Father’Hood is an
imaginative hybrid of stand-up and storytelling. It is intimate, revealing,
funny, but always loving. Anyone who thinks stand-up comedy is the toughest job
in the world, has never been a parent.
8:45pm-9:45pm - COMEDY FROM THE FRONTLINES - $10
A unique stand-up event where each of the performers will share their comedy and stories from their actual tours overseas entertaining our troops. NOT TO BE MISSED!!!

The
Late Night Lock Box is the only show in the world (or at least Altadena) where audience
members are able to get into the show for free, but MUST PAY TO LEAVE!!!
As the final show of the ACF11, our line up of performers will include, top LA Comics, The Ice House Improv Troop, an actual recreation of a 1982 Gong Show Performance, & "On The Couch with
Marsha".
Altadena
